We believe that the key to a child’s happiness with us lies in good parental partnerships. We are able to communicate effectively at the start and end of every session. Therefore we are able to build up a clear picture of the children’s needs through close relationships with the parents and carers.
Introduction
To familiarise the children with the setting we give them all a taster day whee they come and join us with their parent/carer for a session in the term before their starting date. We really want all children to settle in with us as happily as possible. We fully understand that in some cases children may benefit from their parents/carers staying with them for a while in the first few days.
